The one where Marc watched a movie that had David Schwimmer in it and no one called him 'Ross'.
I fell asleep to the tune of Jay Leno interviewing Larry the Cable Guy and Eubanks laughing heartily in the background. But let's face it, what Jay Leno episode doesn't include an interview/musical performance by a hick? And Kevin laughing at all of Jay's shockingly awful jokes? And that woman from the band who looks like a mix of an early Pam Grier, you know, back when she mattered and Loretta, Cleveland's wife from Family Guy? The one who always screams out songs, one of which, I'm 189372874% sure was 'Lala' by Ashlee Simpson?
Basically, I've seen this episode before. 1,449,345 times before, to be exact. Nevermind that the episode in question had the fantastic Julia Louis Dreyfus in it. Also, disregard the fact that, oddly enough, this was a rerun from 2 weeks ago. My point, and I do have one, is that every Tonight Show episode follows the same format every fucking night and I'm getting mighty sick of it. Why am I still watching it, you ask? I'll tell you why. Because when it's midnight and you only have a whopping 4 channels to choose from, you are in no position to get picky. Beggars can't be choosers, now can they?
Thankfully, I pass out not too long after. I didn't care much that I missed Conan tonight, since NBC has decided they will only do reruns of their late night lineup. A decision which I'm sure will totally help them get out of 4th place in the ratings. And since Comedy Central doesn't pay Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert to do a Friday show, then all is well. Now, here I sit, writing this entry watching David Schwimmer trying to act, but let's face it, this guy couldn't act his way out of a box. A very poorly constructed box at that, made of japanese rice paper and held together by monkey spit. In his defense, I 've heard that monkey spit is the new super glue.
Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and manage to pass out again or somethi...
Zzz.
